This Return and Refund Policy (“Refund Policy”) governs cancellations, refunds, and payment-related matters relating to products and services provided by Mirsv IO (Pty) Ltd, trading as mirsv.io (“Mirsv”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

Mirsv is a South African cybersecurity company that leverages artificial intelligence, automation workflows, commercial threat intelligence, and human expertise to identify, assess, score, and mitigate phishing, fraud, impersonation, social engineering, and related cyber threats.

By purchasing or subscribing to mirsv.io services, you agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to:

  • Monthly subscriptions.
  • Paid cybersecurity services.
  • Premium features.
  • Business subscriptions.
  • Individual subscriptions.

Separate enterprise agreements may contain additional terms.

3. Free Services

Mirsv may provide certain services free of charge, including:

  • Free scans.
  • Promotional offers.
  • Limited-access features.

No refunds apply to free services.

4. Refund Window

Mirsv offers a fourteen (14) calendar day refund period for first-time subscription purchases.

Customers may request a refund within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of the original purchase.

After the fourteen (14) day refund period expires, payments are non-refundable.

5. Subscription Renewals

Subscription renewals are non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for managing and cancelling subscriptions before the next billing cycle begins.

Cancellation prevents future charges and does not entitle the customer to a refund for the current billing period.

6. Subscription Cancellation

Customers may cancel subscriptions at any time.

Following cancellation:

  • Future recurring charges will stop.
  • Access to paid services will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • No further payments will be collected unless the subscription is reactivated.

7. Duplicate Charges

Verified duplicate charges will be refunded in full.

Customers should notify Mirsv within thirty (30) days of the transaction date.

8. Billing Errors

Customers who believe they have been charged incorrectly should contact Mirsv as soon as possible.

Verified billing errors will be corrected and, where necessary, the applicable refund will be issued.

9. Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise customers operating under:

  • Service Agreements.
  • Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Procurement Agreements.
  • Custom Contracts.

may be subject to separate refund provisions. Where separate contractual terms exist, those terms take precedence over this Refund Policy.

10. Security Incidents

Mirsv provides cybersecurity services intended to reduce cyber risk. No cybersecurity solution can guarantee complete protection from all threats.

Refunds are not provided solely because:

  • A cyberattack occurred.
  • A phishing attempt was successful.
  • Fraud occurred.
  • A threat was not detected.

Users remain responsible for implementing appropriate security controls and operational practices.

11. Fraud Prevention

Mirsv may deny refund requests where fraud, abuse, or misuse of services is identified.

Accounts involved in fraudulent activity may be suspended or terminated.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights available under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

13. Changes to this Refund Policy

Updated versions of this Refund Policy will be published on the mirsv.io website.

Continued use of mirsv.io services constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
